IXZ APPLICATIONS

The ideal portable solution for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

TASCAM's iXZ is the ultimate portable interface for recording with your Apple iOS device. It provides the inputs you need to record nearly any acoustic or electric instrument to any of the thousands of recording apps on the app store, including Apple's own Garage Band or TASCAM's Portastudio.

Mic or Guitar-level Input

iXZ Inputs
Unlike similar recording interfaces for iOS, the input of the TASCAM iXZ can be switched between microphone-level or guitar level in. When switched to guitar level, the iXZ doesn't require any power. That makes the iXZ ideal for practicing your guitar and bass as well as recording.
Switch to Microphone level to enable the microphone preamp. Phantom power is available for powering a condenser microphone for detailed instrument or voice recording. A pair of AA batteries (included) provide hours of microphone recording.
A hardware gain knob controls the level of the input to your recording app. This gives you a quicker way to adjust the level than software controls – if your app even has one.

Headphone out/thru jack

Since the iXZ simply plugs into the headset jack of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, an 1/8" headphone output jack is provided on the back of the iXZ.

Applications

  • Guitar Practice – Play in headphones with a metronome and effects using your favorite app
  • Songwriting – Use an app like TASCAM Portastudio to build up a song before presenting it to the band
  • Rehearsal Recording – Plug in a mic to capture band practice
  • Sound Effects Gathering – Record sounds in the outside world, then drop them into your productions

DigiTech Bass Squeeze Compression

The Bass Squeeze™ is the result of collaboration between DigiTech® and dbx® to create the world's finest bass compression pedal. Utilizing award- winning dbx® OverEasy™ technology, the Bass Squeeze™ delivers dual-band compression, creating the most transparent bass compressor found in any stompbox.

DigiTech Bass Driver Overdrive

The Bass Driver™ features three different bass overdrive distortion pedal models to select from. Go from a light overdrive to all out Stonerrock Fuzz or morph in between.

DigiTech DigiVerb Reverb

When you want reverb you don't always want the SAME reverb. DigiTech knows you need options and we deliver the X-Series DigiVerb. An impressive total of 7 reverbs that include Room, Plate, Hall, Church, Gated, Reverse, and Spring will give you all the options you need to breathe new life into your tone. To further tweak your sound, DigiTech provided an EQ knob so you can fine tune your tone.

As always you can count on quality of construction as well as tone. The DigiVerb pedal is housed in a rugged metal chassis and offers dual outputs for either mono or stereo operation.

DigiTech Metal Master Metal Distortion

Don't settle for one distortion pedal when you can have 3 built into one stomp box! Introducing the Metal Master pedal from DigiTech. This pedal will give you the arsenal you need to tear the heads off of your crowd!

Use the Morph knob to morph between a smooth high gain tone, to a scooped midrange sound, all the way to a punchy mid range heavy metal sound that will cut through ANY mix!

You strive to make your music unique and DigiTech gives you the power to create that unique sound in one pedal. In order to give you more options than anyone else and further refine your tone, DigiTech put in separate low and high spectral-contouring EQ and dual amp/mixer outputs with optional cabinet modeling circuitry. All of this in a rugged metal chassis that will stand the abuse of the road.

DigiTech Hot Head Overdrive

The axiom "the right tool for the right job" is something musicians live by and strive to find. For those looking to get the high-gain crunchy tone of a driven stack whether you are playing straight ahead rock-n-roll or higher gain modern rock, you have found your tool. If you are looking for a little grit or you want your amp to sound like a full stack, the Hot Head pedal is the right tool for you. DigiTech delivers all this tone packed in a rugged metal chassis with standard dual outputs (amp and mixer) as well as giving you low and high tone controls so you can shape your tone to exactly what you are looking for. The Hot Head is the right tool for the job. But don't take our word… plug in and find out why everyone agrees!

DigiTech Grunge Distortion

The masses have spoken! When a pedal becomes a top seller for more than a decade to beginner, intermediate, and pro level players there is a reason why. DigiTech delivers everything from growling chunky rhythms, heavy grinding tones, all the way to amazing sustaining leads and everything in between. All this tone packaged in a rugged sturdy metal chassis that gives you full control over your tonal options with low and high EQ instead of the standard "one tone knob does all" that you find in other pedals. And to finish it off, you have the option of two outputs. The amp output goes straight to your amp and the mixer output has a special cabinet emulator built in so you can go direct to the mixing console or add a little extra beef to your tone in your amp. Find out why players all over the world have sought this pedal out for over a decade and see what you have been missing!

DigiTech Bad Monkey Tube Overdrive

Boost Your Amp

The Bad Monkey Tube Overdrive gives your amp a boost just when you need it. It has been compared to the TS-808 but with having the unique ability to smooth out the distortion by use of the low and high EQ controls. Most overdrive pedals give you one tone control knob thus limiting your tonal options. You asked for a pedal that will maintain your guitar's distinct tone and DigiTech delivered! With its rugged design, separate mixer and amp outputs, and amazing tonal options, this pedal truly is a Bad Monkey. From Blues to Rock to everything in between, it will give you that amazing overdriven tube amp sound that will keep begging you to crank it up!

DigiTech Death Metal Metal Distortion

If there was ever a ceiling to how much distortion you could pack into a pedal; the Death Metal Pedal shattered through it doing a million miles an hour! The legendary Death Metal pedal gives you FULL tonal control of this massive amount of gain by giving you level, low, mid, and high controls allowing you to flexibly shape the tone of the pedal into YOUR tone. Your guitar is guaranteed to cut through with a tone so big and fast it will leave people spinning in their seats wondering what the license number of the jet was that just passed by!

As always expected from DigiTech, this pedal comes in a rugged sturdy metal chassis with dual amp and mixer outputs giving you even more tone options. When it comes to your tone, why settle for limited control. Don't settle for anything less than what DigiTech can offer.

Also as a pedal download for the iStomp
iStompThe iStomp™ works just like every other stompbox. Step on the footswitch to turn it on and off. Adjust the knobs to get the sound you want. The biggest difference between the iStomp and other stompboxes is you can completely change the iStomp to be any pedal in the entire pedal line. Simply connect your iPod touch®, iPhone®, or iPad® to the iStomp and select which pedal you’d like from the DigiTech® Stomp Shop™ App. In about the same time it takes to download a song you can change the iStomp from a distortion to a reverb, a phaser to a tube overdrive, or a delay to a chorus. iStomp includes DigiTech’s Total Recall™ digital delay and Redline™ overdrive to get you started. lowering the delay level when you play. This is useful when playing solos in that it helps keep the delay effect from making your sound too muddy.

DigiTech RP500 Multi-Effects Switching System & USB Recording Interface

The Simplicity of a Stompbox. The Control of an Effect Switching System.

The RP500 takes the complexity of an effect switching system and combines it with the simplicity of stompboxes. Full arsenals of tones are at your disposal, all easily controlled. If you're a player who takes command of their tone by turning individual pedals on and off, enable the Pedalboard Mode button and instantly use the 5 footswitches to turn the RP500's stompboxes and effects on and off within a program. If you are tired with the effect tap-dance and want to concentrate on playing, the RP500's Preset Mode gives you instant access to 5 totally different sounds with the single press of a footswitch (100 presets total across 20 different banks).  Now the RP500 features a 20-second looper. Simply play, loop, change tones then overdub. It's that easy.

No matter how you like to control your sound, the RP500 has a solution for you.

DigTtech Whammy™

The legendary Whammy™

It's been a decade since the Whammy™ was introduced and now it has a permanent place on every professional's pedalboard. This is what has made the Whammy® a legend. Hit after hit, performance after performance, the Whammy™ not only adds to your playing, it creates new sounds, feelings and textures.

Marshall 1960AX Classic Angled Cabinet For Yngwie Malmsteen Signature YJM100 Head

Marshall Speaker Cabinets  410 for Marshall Yngwie Malmsteen Signature YJM100 Amplifier Head
Marshall is the only choice for serious musicians. Nothing compares to Marshall cabinets in terms of awesome tone and projection. Both visually and aurally, Marshall 4x12 cabs are indeed "the business."

Great sound and looks however are not everything. Many years of experience mean that their speaker cabinets are also built to stand the test of time. Highly skilled craftsmen construct them from the finest quality materials with precision corner locked joints, tough cotton backed PVC covering, heavy-duty hardware, and the highest quality fittings.

The Marshall Stack
If one thing personifies the image of rock 'n' roll more than anything else it's the Marshall 4x12. Though often imitated, nothing compares with the original. The first 4x12 cab was designed and built by Jim Marshall in 1962. Since then Marshall has made many thousands, which have appeared on stages both large and small all over the world.

After the initial success of the Marshall 4x12, it wasn't too long before they designed and built the first stack, where an angled cabinet sits on top of a straight fronted cab, with the amplifier placed on top. This came about after discussions with Pete Townshend of The Who. Pete and Jim Marshall sat down and discussed The Who's requirements for an 8x12 cab with an angled top. This was designed and built, but due to this awesome cab being somewhat cumbersome, only six were ever made.

As a result, Marshall came up with the more practical idea of stacking an angled cab on top of a straight fronted model. Thus the famous Marshall stack was born. What happened to the six 8x12 cabs you ask? Well, 2 went to Pete Townshend, 2 went to John Entwhistle and the remaining 2 went to the Small Faces. The Marshall stack on the other hand has stayed in production ever since and has gone on to become the most recognizable rock 'n' roll icon.

As Marshall invented the stack, Marshall 4x12's are the only true originals. Everything else is merely an imitation.

Heavy-duty castors are fitted as standard to all Marshall full size 4x12's to ensure that these cabinets are ready to roll without rocking.

No sharp metal edges or rough fittings - the smooth ABS plastic Marshall corner fits perfectly and offers excellent protection to all eight cabinet corners.

The highest quality woodwork includes the 'corner locking' of each and every joint. This helps give Marshall cabinets the incredible strength and durability, which has become as legendary as the Marshall sound itself.

Heavy-duty Grab Handles are fitted to all Marshall cabinets. Their tough, ergonomic recessed casing design gives easy access to the bar of the handle without affecting the cabinet's smooth lines.

Marshall Yngwie Malmsteen Signature YJM100 Amplifier Head

" LIMITED EDITION "

I love this time of the year, the news just keeps coming about new products and something that will always turn heads is a new Marshall Amp, especially when it is a signature Yngwie J Malmsteen amp!
Marshall Amplification is proud to present the Signature YJM100: a 100-watt, valve head that was developed in close conjunction with the legendary Swedish six-string shredder, Yngwie Malmsteen. The YJM offers the perfect balance of vintage tone and looks alongside modern features which makes the amplifier the perfect players' tool for 'œplug in and play' recording or live performance.
Malmsteen has been a Marshall devotee from the get-go so this collaboration comes as no surprise to his countless fans. 'œI can’t say enough about my love for the sound, feel and look of the wall of Marshall’s. Since I was 10 years old, I've insisted on having them behind me at all times,' the guitarist reveals. 'œI must have had every amp company in the world ask me to endorse them, over the years. To finally have my own signature Marshall is an honor and this amp is truly a master piece!'
Based on the power and tone of the 'œHoly Grail' 1959 Plexi head, the YJM100 offers the ultimate Neo-Classical amp with the following cutting edge features:
1. Footswitchable* Boost with controls for Volume and Gain on the rear panel.
2. Footswitchable* Noise Gate with rear panel Threshold control.
3. Footswitchable* studio quality Digital Reverb with rear panel Level control.
4. Footswitchable* Series FX Loop
5. Half power switch which takes the output power from 100W to 50W when engaged.
6. Built-in, infinitely variable Attenuator control which can take the output stage from 100% to 0.01% and anywhere in-between, while retaining the all-important tone and feel of the all-valve power section. This means the output power can be reduced to a staggering low of 0.05 Watts when in 50W power mode.
7. Valve Failure Circuitry: meaning that if one of the output valves develops a fault, a visual indicator on the rear of the amplifier shows which one is working incorrectly. This 'œroadie friendly feature' will save valuable time getting the amplifier back up and running again, should a valve failure occur.
8. Self-biasing circuitry to ensure proper power valve operation each time valves are changed.
*NOTE: A four-way Footcontroller (PEDL-00046) comes supplied with the YJM100, facilitating switching of Booster, Gate, Reverb and FX Loop features. This Footcontroller has been designed using Marshall Amplification’s patented STOMPWARE® Technology, allowing the user to connect it to the amp using a standard 1/4″ guitar cable.

GODIN ACS-SA Slim With Bag

The 'Slim' in the moniker refers to the 1.715" neck width at the nut, which is a mere 16th of an inch wider than our standard electric guitar nut width. If you do most of your playing on a guitar with a fairly narrow neck (most solid body electric guitars) this is the ACS-SA for you. The slim neck of this guitar along with our Ergocut shaping technique and 16" fingerboard radius provide for a very easy transition for steel string guitar players looking to integrate nylon string guitar sounds into their music. Aside from the new neck, the ACS-SA Slim shares all of the same features that have made the ACS-SA an industry standard. The chambered, silverleaf maple body with a cedar top results in an instrument that is virtually free of feedback, making it easy to use even in loud stage situations.
